The 17th century Bay Horse is now enjoying a new and vibrant lease of life as one of the best ‘locals’ in this region of Lancashire. We also boast a comfortably refurbished restaurant with a reputation as ‘the’ place to meet and eat, making this Bay Horse always first past the post in the drinking and eating ‘steaks’!
THE ‘LOCAL’
Locally, The Bay Horse is now a popular feature for the residents of the village of Fence and also for those living further afield in Read, Simonstone, Higham etc. So, we are a ‘locals’ local’ for quite a large area and our convivial bar has features that appeal to all sections of the community:-
Fence itself is very near to the legendary Pendle Hill (*of Pendle Witches fame) and so is popular with visiting tourists keen to experience the spirits! Mixing with our local friends in the bar, they quickly realise that, at The Bay Horse, all our spirits are behind the bar and reasonably priced!
Join us for a leisurely drink soon.
Cheers!
